Home and School Meeting - Wed. June 10
The last SRS Home & School Meeting of the year will be held Wednesday, June 10th at 7:30 p.m. in the SRS Library.
H&S welcomes its new leadership for the 2009-2010 school year, Carlin McCoy and Katie Crawford, who will be presenting the H&S budget for the 2009-2010 school year, which will be voted upon. We hope you can come out to help us celebrate the end of a successful 2008-2009 school year and plant seeds for the upcoming school year!
5th Grade Car Wash - May 30
SRS 5th Grade Car Wash wants you and your cars! Get your cars clean and shining like new, and at the same time, support a worthy cause. Bring your cars to the Swarthmore-Rutledge School (SRS) 5th Grade Car Wash, Saturday, May 30 from 9 am to 12 pm at the SRS Teacher Parking Lot on College Avenue.
The requested donation of $5.00 will help support the 5th grade activities, including publication of a yearbook and end-of-year party.
Kid’s Sidewalk Sale - May 30th
KID’S SIDEWALK SALE IS NOT JUST FOR KIDS!
Students from our district’s elementary schools will be holding their annual Kid’s Sidewalk Sale Saturday May 30 from 11am-2pm. Tables of toys, crafts, baked goods and other fun stuff will be set up on the sidewalks in front of businesses in downtown Swarthmore. This combination flea market, crafts fair, food court and more is run by our local kids so come out and support them while you pick up some unbelievable bargains. Home and School Meeting Rescheduled
The next and last Home & School meeting for this year, which was originally rescheduled from May 6th to May 20th, has been rescheduled to Wed., June 10th. We appreciate your patience with the schedule changes.
The main agenda item for this upcoming meeting is the presentation of next year’s H&S budget for review and approval.
