Dear SRS Families, Faculty and Staff,

SRS Home and School is excited to announce its latest fundraiser- a home-grown cookbook featuring favorite recipes from members of our community. Capture your child’s favorite recipe, or share a family favorite you are sure to treasure this unique cookbook through the years. Proceeds from our cookbooks sales will not only help fund Home and School projects, but will also help those who are so hungry in these tough economic times.  49 million people in the US are now considered to not have adequate food on a regular basis and 17 million of these are children.  All monies raised over the H&S budgeted goal will be donated to a local food bank.
Here’s how you can help.  Start by submitting your favorite recipes so you and your family can be represented in our memorable collection.  Simply follow the instructions below.  Your name will be printed with each of your recipes.  Please submit as many as you like- the more, the better. Next, we anticipate a great demand for our cookbooks, and we want to be certain we order enough.  We encourage you to order your cookbooks now to be assured of receiving one, and to help Home and School meet its goals.  And, they’ll make a great gift, ready in time for Mother’s Day.

Instructions for Recipe Submissions

Send in copies of your recipes to your child’s teacher in an envelope to the attention
of “Kathy Hughes, cookbook submission”.
Or
Submit a recipe online
Go to www.typensave.com.  Click the login button on the right.  On the next page, enter your name, enter group login: srscookbook, enter password bh4m2.  You will then be instructed on how to enter each recipe.
Please submit your recipes by January 31st.  (As many as you like!)
